I visited Baton, a stylish brunch cafe located in the redevelopment district of Yongsan 😊

Baton meal cafe

We arrived around 1 PM on a Saturday.

💙

For parking, use the paid parking lot at I'Park Mall Emart nearby.

To my surprise, there were only 3 groups ahead of us on the waitlist, so I registered right away.

I expected more people at this time of day, but luckily it wasn't too bad 😌

While waiting, we checked out some of the products on display at the entrance.

There were even labels indicating the origins of the ingredients used.

We only waited about 5-10 minutes before we got the notification that our table was ready!

Time to go in! 😋

The interior has a mix of wide glass tables and cute round ones.

There's even a cozy outdoor seating area, though it was too hot to sit outside that day.

We chose a round table next to some cute oranges 🍊

At first, we sat under the air conditioning, but since my friend had a cold, we kindly asked to move.

The staff was super accommodating and moved us to a glass table by the window.

So thankful for their kindness! 😊

" Menu Highlights "

We ordered the Baton Club Sandwich (15,000 KRW), Popover Pancake (20,000 KRW), and Ragu Penne Pasta (20,000 KRW).

The Baton Club Sandwich was delicious with brioche buns, veggies, cheese, tomato, chicken breast, bacon, ham, and a fried egg.

It was already cut in half when served, making it easy to dig in!

The egg was perfectly runny too. 🍳

Next came the Ragu Penne Pasta with homemade ragu alla Bolognese, parmigiano reggiano, and toasted bread on the side.

The seasoning really soaked into the pasta, making it extra flavorful! 🍝

All the dishes at Baton were fantastic!

Last but not least was the Popover Pancake with burrata cheese, prosciutto, and syrup on the side.

Sweet and savory, it was absolutely amazing!! 🍯

The Ragu Penne Pasta was hearty, though not the most unique, it's a solid choice.

The Baton Club Sandwich was fresh and vibrant with high-quality ingredients. But the real star?

The Popover Pancake—sweet, unique, and a must-try!

My sister insisted we get it again after having it before, and I’m so glad we did!

Baton nails both the atmosphere and the taste, making it a top brunch spot in Yongsan. Highly recommend! 🌟
