I recently had the chance to visit Yangcheon Tennis Court and get a quick experience on the court! 🎾
If you’re coming by subway, head to Yangcheon-gu Office Station and take Exit 2.
Parking seems to be available in the apartment complex nearby.
Be prepared for a bit of a walk uphill—this will bring you right to the Yangcheon Apartment Complex where the tennis courts are located. 😊
The tennis court is actually labeled as a residents' exercise area, and it’s tucked behind the children's playground!
As you approach the court, you’ll first spot a shaded seating area with a canopy, perfect for a little rest in between sets.
They even have vending machines here, although they only take cash, not cards.
The court itself is surrounded by apartment buildings, which gives it a unique and cozy vibe.
There's a bathroom near the apartment entrance, but don't forget to bring the key with you if you go!
There's also a small indoor rest area, complete with a fridge, water dispenser, mirror, and even a changing room, which makes it super convenient.
The court on the far right is a residents' court—you can use it if it's available, but it's often occupied by the resident coaches for lessons or other locals.
So, finding a free slot might be tricky.
Being so close to the apartments, they have strict noise regulations—you’ll notice signs everywhere reminding players to keep the noise down.
It’s definitely something to keep in mind if you play here!
Despite the intense heat from the sun making the hardcourt surface a bit challenging to play on, I had a great time finishing up my tennis session. ☀️
