Lotte Cinema Yeongdeungpo - Movie Theater, Arcade, Concessions, Parking, Group Events

 

 

I recently visited Lotte Cinema Yeongdeungpo to watch a movie—something I hadn’t done in a while!

Using my KT Membership discount, I reserved two tickets for just 11,000 KRW!

I used the VVIP/VIP Choice movie reservation feature on the KT Membership app.

We chose to watch "Suzume's Door-Locking."

 

 

You can follow the signs inside Lotte Department Store to reach the cinema on the 7th floor,

but it's even easier to use the dedicated Lotte Cinema entrance next to the department store entrance.

 

Just take the escalator straight up to the 7th floor!

 

Once there, we used the automated ticket kiosk at the Lotte Cinema to enter our reservation number and print our tickets.

 

Before the movie, we explored the arcade right next door!

There’s a bathroom nearby, as well as a massage cafe called Mr. Healing.

 

The arcade had a ton of different games. We tried the shooting game, and guess what—

Next up, the most exciting part before a movie: getting popcorn!

 

There were plenty of standing tables around for a quick snack.

Lotte Cinema Menu

We opted for the Grilled Snack Combo for 15,000 KRW.

I chose caramel popcorn, my favorite, and a zero cola.

 

We grabbed some napkins and straws from the back counter and prepped some wasabi mayo sauce to go with our squid—it was incredibly tender, and the sauce paired perfectly!

 

After a quick trip to the restroom, we saw our entrance alert on the display screen and headed into the theater!

 

Inside, we noticed snack vending machines as well, which was a nice touch.

 

"Suzume's Door-Locking" was fantastic!

I’m a big fan of animation, and this one had a unique plot, was heartwarming, and had a bit of cuteness—I was totally immersed.

 

After the movie, we headed down one floor to the parking area, where we registered our parking ticket at the automated machine.

If you have a mobile ticket, scan the barcode at the top left; for paper tickets, scan the barcode at the bottom.

 

It seems like they offer group rentals and special group concession packages, so you might want to inquire for more details.

 

In Yeongdeungpo, you have the choice between CGV and Lotte Cinema.

CGV Yeongdeungpo tends to be crowded, but Lotte Cinema Yeongdeungpo is much more relaxed, making it easy to enjoy the arcade and grab popcorn without the rush.

I think I'll be visiting Lotte Cinema Yeongdeungpo more often from now on!
