I visited Damn Good Seoul, a bar located right in front of Exit 2 of Samgakji Station!
For parking, you can use the paid parking lot behind the building or the public parking lot in front of Woori Bank.
The sign isn’t very noticeable, so I only realized I had arrived once I was right at the door. 😅
Head inside and take the stairs on the right to the second floor!
There’s a restroom on the way up around the 1.5th floor.
It’s shared but seems well-maintained.
Once you reach the second floor, you’ll see the shimmering lights of the interior. 😊
As soon as you enter, you’re greeted by the DAMN GOOD SEOUL neon sign.
This area seems to be the waiting space.
The whole place is well-decorated.
There are a couple of tables for groups of up to six people, but most of the seating is for two.
At the bar, where the bartender and DJ are stationed, all the seats were taken by solo customers or pairs.
Since we were a group of five, we took the last available group seat. Unfortunately, it was right under the speaker, and the music was so loud that we couldn’t hear each other talk. 😅 When we asked the staff if the volume could be lowered, they explained that it was a DJ night, and it wouldn’t be appropriate to turn down the music.
So, we had no choice but to shout over the music to talk. 😂

Wine
Cocktails
Whiskey, Vodka, Tequila
Snacks
First up, Peach Tea Gin & Tonic (18,000 won)
I was expecting a light cocktail like a peach crush, but to my surprise, it was much stronger than I thought! 🍸
God Father (18,000 won)
Samgakji Sour (20,000 won)
One of their signature cocktails. I usually prefer drinks that taste more like soda, but this one had a strong alcohol flavor for me. 😅
To the right of the Samgakji Sour was Broken Ade (19,000 won), another signature cocktail.
This one was sweet and sour, definitely the best out of the ones we tried! (I enjoyed it so much I forgot to take a proper picture... oops!)
Penicillin (20,000 won)
This one had a strong medicinal taste. 🤨
We were told that for group seating, you normally need to order a wine bottle worth 100,000 won or more, but since they hadn’t informed us in advance, they made an exception for us. 😊
We also ordered the Charcuterie & Cheese Platter (22,000 won), which came with Salt House Mortadella and six types of cheese.
Here’s what came with the cheese platter.
Spanish Gin & Tonic (18,000 won)
This one was super pretty visually! 😍
Finally, Bohemian, Seoul (19,000 won), another signature cocktail, with a strong ginger ale flavor.
Although it was a bit noisy due to the DJ (who isn’t always there, according to the staff), Damn Good Seoul is a great place to enjoy the vibe of Samgakji. 🎶
