I recently attended a wedding at the stunning Grand Hyatt Seoul, and wow, what a venue! 🎉
As soon as you enter the hotel lobby, you’re greeted with the grandeur of the Hyatt.
It’s quite a sight to behold.
If you’re not familiar with the layout, you can get lost, but no worries—just head to the right after entering, and you’ll find the wedding hall entrance. 😊
When you go all the way down, you’ll see the entrance to the wedding venue. Upon entering, we were welcomed by friendly faces.
There's a photo zone in the middle of the wide area opposite the entrance.
You’ll see the bride and groom’s names beautifully displayed in a mosaic design, surrounded by lovely flowers and greenery. 🌸
To the left, there are rows of wedding photos displayed. 📸
Following these, you’ll eventually arrive at the bride’s waiting room, which is beautifully decorated with more flowers and wedding photos.
Behind this area is the bride’s room.
Since we were guests of the groom, we headed straight to the wedding hall.
As soon as we stepped in, the sheer size of the hall and the elegant decor took our breath away!
The tables were set with flowers and lighting that gave off a warm and luxurious vibe.
The aisle was appropriately grand—decorated with hydrangeas and other beautiful flowers.
It was quite long, adding to the majestic atmosphere. 🌿
Each seat had a placard with numbers and names, so it was easy to find our assigned spots.
The place settings were impeccable, and each table had a detailed menu of the meal.
Everything felt so luxurious! ✨
As the first part of the ceremony ended and the bride and groom exited, the curtains opened to reveal a stunning fountain behind the hall!
The room, once dimly lit, suddenly became bright, and the sight of the fountain elicited "oohs" and "aahs" from the guests.
It was raining all day, but the atmosphere inside was so perfect, it was easy to forget about the rain. ☔️
Then, the wine was poured! A lovely red wine to enjoy with the meal, and the staff continuously refilled water throughout the event. 🍷
Next came the appetizer—long, crispy bread and soft, warm rolls.
One was crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside, and the other was like a tender morning roll.
Paired with butter, they were heavenly! 🥖
Following that, we had a delightful dish of scallops, prawns, abalone, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, beans, tomatoes, and caviar with olive oil powder.
It was the perfect palate awakener! 😋
The next course was a mushroom soup filled with cream and ricotta cheese.
The rich flavors of the mushrooms were amazing, and dipping the bread into the soup made it even better!
For a refreshing break, we were served Jeju tangerine sorbet—sweet, tangy, and the perfect way to cleanse our palates before the second part of the ceremony.
The main course was Australian beef tenderloin with artichokes, asparagus, beets, truffle puree, and whole grain mustard sauce.
The beet dish was a first for me, but I loved the rich, earthy flavor and the way it paired with the steak.
The beef was cooked to perfection—so tender! 🥩
Just when we thought we couldn’t eat any more, they brought out kimchi noodles!
It was such a great way to cleanse our palates after the rich steak.
A true nod to Korean flavors, and perfect for those who love traditional dishes. 🍜
For dessert, we were treated to coconut sorbet topped with Kirsch vanilla cream and a chocolate almond cake.
It was so beautiful, and the cold, creamy sorbet was delightful. 🍰
To wrap up, we had our choice of coffee or tea, and the coffee was wonderfully fragrant. ☕️
Finally, an announcement was made: guests could take some flowers from their table arrangements, and the staff would wrap them into bouquets outside.
I grabbed a few flowers from my seat and wandered over to the fountain to admire the view before picking more.
The night view, with the fountain lights, was simply stunning! 💐
In the end, I left with a gorgeous bouquet. Some guests went for all green leaves, while others chose matching flowers, but I mixed different colors and flowers for a more eclectic look.
What a perfect ending to such a special day—an unforgettable wedding, luxurious food, and a beautiful bouquet to take home! 🎀
