We visited Youth Frozen Pork Belly, easily recognizable by its bright yellow sign! 😄
On a weekday around 8 PM, there was only one seat left, but by 8:30 PM, the place had cleared out a bit.
There had been a large group before us, so it’s perfect for big gatherings.
There’s also an outdoor terrace if you prefer eating outside. 😊

"When you're feeling down, go where the meat is!" 😂
They have a variety of side dishes listed on the wall, and yes, Kelly Beer is available too! 🍻
Aprons and water are self-serve. 👍
If you need salt or sesame oil, just ask and they’ll bring it for you.
The restroom is unisex and located inside the restaurant.
They serve the meat right away when you order!
We got green onion salad, pepper, lettuce, ssamjang, and garlic.
Next came bean sprouts, kimchi, gosari (fernbrake), and pickled radish.
Perfect sides to complement the meat 🤤
Cutlery, chopsticks, and wet wipes are in the table drawer for easy access.
We started with two orders of frozen pork belly (150g each) at 10,900 KRW each.
Let the grilling begin! 🥩
We also added gosari, kimchi, green onions, and bean sprouts to the grill.
A sprinkle of pepper for some extra flavor!
The meat was coming along nicely!
I made my own wraps using pickled radish, meat, kimchi, bean sprouts, and gosari.
The pork belly was just the right thickness—not too thin, not too thick—perfectly chewy. 💯
We also wrapped the meat in lettuce for that classic ssam combo. So satisfying!
Since we were still hungry, we ordered another portion of frozen pork belly and asked for more bean sprouts, gosari, and pickled radish.
One more frozen pork belly (150g) and Jjapagetti (5,500 KRW) coming right up!
And so the meat party continued! 🎉
The combination of gosari, bean sprouts, and kimchi was just out of this world!!!
As we finished grilling our second batch of pork belly, the Jjapagetti arrived, complete with a perfectly runny egg on top.
So shiny and delicious!
There were even steamed dumplings on the side! 🥟
We mixed the Jjapagetti with some pork belly and kimchi for an amazing flavor combo.
Three portions of pork belly and Jjapagetti later, we were completely full and thoroughly satisfied! 😆
As we were leaving, we noticed a basket of candies by the door.
(Though we swapped out candy for a Baskin-Robbins waffle cone on the way home instead...😂)
They even have Febreze ready by the door for a quick freshen-up on your way out. So thoughtful!
I had a disappointing experience with frozen pork belly at another restaurant where it was way too thin, but Youth Frozen Pork Belly nailed the perfect thickness. Plus, the combination of gosari, kimchi, bean sprouts, pickled radish, and green onions was unbeatable. And the Jjapagetti? Genius! I’m already planning to come back and try more side dishes with their amazing meat! 😋
