Traveling from Yeongdeungpo to Dongdaegu, I tried out the KTX vending machine during the trip!
It’s located between Car 11 and Car 12 on the train.
Here are some of the items available at the vending machine:
- Water: 1,100 KRW, 1,000 KRW
- Barley Tea (Haneul Bori): 1,800 KRW
- Chilsung Cider: 1,600 KRW
- Choco Pie (2 pcs): 1,000 KRW
- Milkis: 1,500 KRW
- Kancho (Choco Biscuits): 2,500 KRW
- Choco Pick: 1,700 KRW
- Starbucks Iced Coffee: 1,500 KRW
- Welch’s Juice: 1,200 KRW
- Couque D'asse: 1,500 KRW
- Contrabass Black Coffee: 2,700 KRW
- KF-94 Mask (1 pc): 1,800 KRW
- USB Charging Cable (3 types): 9,900 KRW
I decided to go for Kancho!
The vending machine has detailed instructions on how to use it, too :)
After selecting my item, I pressed Pay~
You can either insert your card into the slot, or simply tap with Samsung Pay like I did!
Once payment goes through, the lights at the product dispensing area start blinking.
My Kancho was rescued successfully! 😄
I also grabbed a 1,000 KRW bottle of water.
Same steps: Press Pay, complete the transaction, and wait for the item.
Once I took out the water, a little message popped up saying the product door would soon close. 😄
It was fun using the vending machine during the train ride ❤️.
Back to my seat, immediately quenched my thirst with the water and opened up the Kancho to satisfy my hunger!
