After finishing up near Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Station, I decided to check out Ton&Tori, an izakaya that serves one of my current favorite drinks—Sawa! 🍋 (I'm really into Sawa these days.)
The bright yellow of the place stood out right away.
From outside, you can already see the kitchen, which adds a cozy vibe.
They specialize in charcoal-grilled handmade yakitori (chicken skewers) and yakiton (pork skewers), so I knew I was in for a treat.
Once inside, there’s a mix of seating options, including outdoor tables that look right into the kitchen—definitely planning to sit there next time! 😊
You can choose from 2-person or 4-person tables, but we opted for the bar seats facing the kitchen.
Perfect for enjoying the cooking action while soaking in the atmosphere.
Right in front of us at the bar were all these cute little items. Such a nice touch! 🧸
" Menu & What We Ordered "
Here’s what we went for:
- TonTori Set (8 skewers) – 29,900 KRW
- Salmon Sashimi – 26,000 KRW
- Lemon Sawa – 7,500 KRW
The menu had a good variety, and everything looked so good, it took us a while to decide!
After ordering, it was time for a quick bathroom break! 🚻
The restrooms are clearly separated by gender, and the whole place has a cute, cozy vibe. 😊
At every table, they have a little something special! 💫
The chef told us they cook the meat to 80-90% to keep it juicy, but they’ll happily cook it to 100% if you prefer.
I was already so excited!
First up: Lemon Sawa! 🍋
I personally like sawa with no alcohol taste at all, and this one had just a hint of alcohol, but it was still really tasty—zesty and sweet.
And then came the fire show! 🔥
The chef started grilling right in front of us.
They also served some complimentary side dishes, which was a nice touch.
The little soy sauce bottle for the salmon sashimi and the dipping sauces for the skewers were just adorable.
First on the grill: quail eggs wrapped in bacon and king oyster mushrooms! 🍄🥓
They also brought out some ginkgo nuts.
Then came the main event—our delicious skewers!
And right after that, the salmon sashimi arrived.
It was super soft and thick, definitely not frozen—so fresh! 🐟

They added a little pepper to finish it off.
The combination of the skewers and salmon, dipped in the sauces, was absolutely delicious!
Everything we had at Ton&Tori was top-notch, from the food to the atmosphere.
I noticed that other tables were ordering the hot pots, and they looked amazing—I’ll definitely try that next time! 🥘
This place has a great vibe with amazing food, making for a perfect evening.
