I visited the highly recommended Plan B Studio in Hongdae—a popular self-photo studio!

 

It’s just a quick 2–3 minute walk from Exit 9 of Hongdae Station. 😊

 

As soon as you walk in, you’ll see all the celebrity autographs on the walls, setting the tone for how special this place is.

 

The studio is full of vibrant colors that instantly catch your eye. 🎨

What's your story?

 

There are mirrors everywhere, perfect for getting ready before your photo session!

 

The biggest mirror has straighteners, curling irons, and brushes all set up. 🪞

And of course, the props are a must!

 

The props include different types of headbands, hats, and glasses—and they’re all in great condition, clean and well-maintained.

 

I was pleasantly surprised by how cute the hats were! 🎩

We chose the Navy Room for our photos.

There's a reflector available to use, but with all the fun props, we didn’t even think to use it. 😄

There’s even a thoughtful hook to hang your bag or coat!

 

While we were there, we noticed the Boys Planet Frame was just released (although we didn’t know much about it).

 

The studio’s instructions are really clear, with guides posted everywhere on how to get the best shots.

 

We picked the 4-cut vertical option for 5,000 KRW.

 

You can either let the camera shoot automatically or press the button yourself.

 

Each session gives you 8 shots, and you have 10 seconds between each one to get ready.

 

I was so happy with the hat I chose—it looked better than expected! 😆

After shooting, we picked our best 4 photos and then chose the filter and background.

 

Here are the filter options:

• Left: brightens up the photo
• Middle: makes the image sharper
• Right: black and white

 

We went for the bright filter with a pink palm tree background. 🌴 So cute! 

 

A QR code shows up both on the photo and the screen, letting you download your photos and video clip for 48 hours with 5 download attempts.

Next, we tried out the full-body booth, which has a SKY BLUE background. 

 

We moved the chair a bit closer to the camera to get the framing just right,

but it tilted slightly—it was still worth it though! 😅

 

This time, we chose a sharper filter with a white background, and the photos turned out great.

 

I was thrilled with my Minnie Mouse headband! 🎀

The ORANGE room was the one I was most excited about!

This time, I bravely chose the 6-cut option.

Even with six photos, you still get 8 shots to choose from.

 

While waiting for the photos to print, we watched a cute animation on the screen that plays while you wait.

 

The combination of the orange background with the ocean scenery filter was perfect. 🧡🌊

Before leaving, we put our photo strips in plastic covers and even added some stickers to finish them off. ✨

 

The unique colored backgrounds and filters really make Plan B Studio stand out from other photo booths that usually only offer white or black backgrounds.

 

And if you’re wondering about the restroom, it’s located next to the full-body booth and connects to a café. Super convenient! 🚻
