When we arrived, we registered for the waiting list (the picture shows no wait, but we went at 7 PM on a Saturday and had to wait behind 8 groups for about 20 minutes!).
Luckily, there are plenty of places to sit while you wait, both indoors and outdoors. 😊
While waiting, we even snapped a few photos!
Once we got our KakaoTalk notification, we went in.
The Restaurant Vibe ✨
The restaurant is spacious, with lots of seating options, and they even provide high chairs for babies.
There are spots to hang your bags and coats too! 👍
Outback Menu 🍴
We ordered the Tomahawk Edition!
It’s ₩24,000 per 100g, and we chose 770g for ₩184,700. The staff came to our table with a tablet, explaining the weight and helping us decide between 730g and 770g. Since the bone weight is included, they recommended the 770g, which was perfect for two people. 😄
We ordered it medium rare.
We also got the Tossed Toowoomba Pasta, and for soup, we chose one cream cheese soup and one mushroom soup. For drinks, we picked the grapefruit and mango ade!
Bushman’s Bread is served warm, and if you ask for chocolate sauce, they’ll bring it to you—it’s a must-try! 🤤
The cream cheese soup comes with stretchy cheese inside, while the mushroom soup is salty and savory.
The mango and grapefruit ade were refreshing, but I preferred the orange ade I had last time!
So I switched to zero cola, which is free if you order an ade first. 🍊
The Main Event: Tomahawk Steak 🥩
Before cutting, they bring the steak to the table so you can snap a photo! 📸
The staff then takes it back to the kitchen to cut it and explain each part of the steak.
The portion near the bone is rib meat, and after some time, they bring it back to the table.
They explained that the left side of the plate has chuck tender, which is most loved by Korean palates. If you prefer it more well-done, you can ask them to cook it a bit longer for you. (But honestly, by the time we thought to ask, we had already eaten it all—it was that good! 😅)
The right side is the ribeye. You start by eating this part.
The bread crumbs they provide are super nutty when dipped into, and the mushrooms and sauce were surprisingly flavorful—maybe even more so than the steak itself! 🍄
Toowoomba Pasta 🍝
Outback’s famous Toowoomba Pasta never disappoints! It’s rich and creamy, just as I remember. 😍
Later, they brought back the rib meat that had been on the bone. It was chewy and delicious, and I personally think it was the best part!
We also asked for two loaves of Bushman’s Bread to go, which they kindly packaged for us (it’s free if you ask!).
Bill & Discounts 💸
Outback offers several discounts, which are listed on the back of the bill.
We used a membership coupon for a ₩10,000 discount.
We also planned to use the Shinhan Love Card for a 20% discount, but there was a ₩20,000 limit.
The staff recommended we use the KT Gold Member discount instead, which offers 15% off with a ₩30,000 limit. Thanks to the helpful staff, we got a great meal at a reasonable price! 😊
