Yangpyeong Nuri Sports Park Tennis Court
- Location: 8-1 Yanghwa-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu
- Contact: 010-7389-2988
I successfully booked the Anyangcheon Tennis Court for Thursday from 8 PM to 10 PM, and here’s how it went! 🎾
For reservations, visit this site.
You’ll need to register your team before making a reservation!
Yeongdeungpo residents can book starting on the 20th of each month, while non-residents can book from the 25th. (Honestly, if you’re not a resident, you might have to wait for cancellations, otherwise it can be tricky 😅).
The usage fee is ₩8,000 for weekdays and ₩10,400 for weekends, with a 2-hour session.
Getting There 🚗
I headed over right after work!
- If you’re taking the bus, get off at Yeongdeungpo Arisu Water Purification Center, then cross the footbridge.
- If you get off at Anyangcheon Entrance, you won’t need to cross the footbridge—just walk straight!
- Driving? Pay attention to your GPS; the directions can be confusing! It's easy to miss the turn-off.
The Yangpyeong Nuri Sports Park also has a soccer field and a baseball field.
Follow the path by the soccer field, and you’ll find a large parking lot. 🅿️
When we arrived, the 6-8 PM players were still on the court, finishing up their session.
There’s a clean bathroom right in the parking lot! 🚻
You can’t transfer your booking to someone else, so they check IDs at the entrance.
Don't Forget Your ID!
I, unfortunately, forgot mine... so I had to show them a picture of it on my phone. They didn’t mind too much, but next time they said they might cross-check using KakaoTalk or verify the name. So make sure to bring your ID next time!
Write your name and district on the list next to your team’s name before entering.
Court Setup 🎾
There are 6 rental courts from A to F, and there’s a G court, which is reserved for lessons.
We were assigned Court D!
Each court has eight chairs—four at the front and four at the back—for bags and gear.
The courts are hard courts, and the spacing between courts is a bit tight, so as a beginner, I found myself apologizing quite a bit for stray balls! 🙈
The weather at the end of April was perfect for tennis! 🌤️
We played hard until 10 PM.
When it hits 10 o’clock sharp, the parking lot restroom closes, but if you walk a bit further, there’s a restroom near the footbridge that’s still open. 🚶♀️
If you can get a reservation, this is definitely a court you’ll want to come back to regularly! 💕
