Saturday evening,
We headed to Yeouido Hangang Park for a picnic!

One of the best things about Yeouido Hangang Park?

The view of the 63 Building!

As soon as we arrived, we laid out our picnic mat! There are plenty of places to rent mats right from the entrance.
King-sized Mat + Table + Wet Wipes: ₩8,000

Such a cute mat!

We left our mat and table and headed off to get some food~

First up, Dakgangjeong (Korean fried chicken)!

You can buy it in various sizes!

They fry the chicken perfectly and coat it in a delicious sauce.

Dakgangjeong: ₩5,000

Next, our soul food—Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes)!

They were selling tteokbokki, odeng (fish cakes), and soondae (blood sausage) in such a tempting display.

Tteokbokki: ₩5,000

We also grabbed some ramen, beer, and snacks from the convenience store.

Set up your ramen bowl,

and you can use the ramen cooker provided!
There are cookers on both the 1st and 2nd floors, but we headed to the 2nd floor.

Scan the barcode on your ramen bowl at the machine,
place your bowl on the platform where the cooking time blinks,
and press start!

Voila! Your ramen is ready ♡

There’s also a microwave right next to the cooker!

Convenient delivery area spotted near the convenience store!

Right next to the ramen cooker on the 2nd floor, there's also a BHC Chicken.

We couldn’t help but buy a heart-shaped balloon...

Wish fulfilled ☆
Heart Balloon: ₩10,000

Round 1 of our feast!

After eyeing it earlier, we went to grab some Takoyaki!

They had Original, Cheese, and Spicy flavors, and we went with Original!

They topped it off with sauce and bonito flakes—so good!

Original Takoyaki (6 pieces): ₩5,000

We also got a slushie :)

Went with Melon flavor!

Melon Slushie: ₩3,000

On our way back with round 2 of food, our spot was shining brightly in the dusk.

We enjoyed our snacks, takoyaki, and slushie!

Even though we didn’t try them all, there were so many other food trucks!

There's also a pre-payment parking kiosk near the convenience store!

The weather was perfect for a picnic—cool and breezy, just right to enjoy the night view and atmosphere by the Han River. We ate a lot and had such a happy time :)
(Though we didn’t engage, three girls at the park definitely attracted some attention, if you know what I mean 😏)
