I finally succeeded in trying the famous Dongdaemun Crepe near Exit 13 of Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station!

 

A victory with just a 10-minute wait!

I arrived at 11:10 AM on Sunday, and there was one group ahead of me.
The owner was still setting up with the “Preparing for Business” sign out.

 

At 11:18 AM, the owner took down the sign, turned on the crepe griddle, and signaled the group in front to start ordering!

By then, another group had joined the line behind us.

It seemed like each crepe took about 2-3 minutes to make!
We started ordering just after 11:20 AM~

 

We chose the No. 5 crepe for 7,000 KRW,
which includes everything!! We added Nutella as well!

 

First, the crepe is spread out~

 

Then, the fruits are prepped,

 

and the heavenly Nutella is generously applied!

 

Next, the prepped fruits are added,

 

followed by a generous helping of blueberries!

 

A swirl of whipped cream,

 

and finally, the chocolate syrup to top it all off :)

 

The fruits are frozen, so sometimes it’s a bit cold on the teeth, but the combination of Nutella, whipped cream, and fruits is simply irresistible~
 
One thing I particularly appreciated was how the owner always changed gloves during preparation, and the workspace was very clean!
Definitely a place you can trust.

After enjoying our crepe, we took a stroll around DDP, and by 12:10 PM, the line was incredibly long!

While the opening time isn’t fixed, I highly recommend going early, around 11 AM, and being one of the first to get your crepe as soon as they open!
Instead of waiting over 30 minutes in line after noon, it’s much better to arrive at 11 AM. Even if the owner opens late, you’ll still end up waiting about 30 minutes—but if they open on time, you can enjoy your crepe without any wait! Haha.

 

Next time, I’ll definitely try the crepe with added ice cream :)
